What species was your first herp/reptile pet?

I started with a bearded dragon, which I had up until last week. I then moved on to leopard geckos, and tomorrow begin my water dragon enclosure

Garden spider

I had inverts before reptiles and amphibs, and yet was scared stiff of them after a few years!

I became scared of spids when my mum got bitten by a huge spider in the back garden..from then on I was sort of scarred for life!

And I am terrified of spiders too..cant explain it. And just my luck: they always appear around me.
